Is the institute accredited?

Doyen Institute of Intelligence and Investigations is registered, recognized, and regulated as a professional training institute by the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice through the Registrar General's Department and the Ministry of Education through the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) now TVET.

Can I visit the education center?

Visit us on Facebook. Come tour our campus, observe our classrooms, and meet our counselors, administrators, and faculty. You will always be welcome.

Can I pay tuition fees in installments?

Yes, but students must at least pay the minimum required fees before they will be allowed to undertake the Academic and Residential registration. 

You need to pay 70% of the tuition fee on or before enrolment and the remaining amount can be paid in Two consecutive monthly installments.

What kind of diploma will I receive?

We issue Professional Diploma, Specialised Diploma, and Executive Certificate depending on the course taken.

Who can apply?

  1. Our courses are designed for security, risk, defense, intelligence, and investigations practitioners – both in the public and the private sectors.

  2. The staff of corporate organizations

  3. Private individuals aspiring to join any of the security sectors.

Entry requirement 

  1. Applicant must be 21 years old and above with a minimum of a senior high school certificate.  or

  2. Applicants with at least 12 months of industry experience but without a senior high school certificate may also be eligible.

  3. Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

What are the graduation requirements?

Students will be assessed throughout the duration of the program. To be conferred with the Diploma, students must achieve a pass for their in-class assessments and module papers, and at least 75% of class attendance.

The diploma is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis with 3 core and 15 elective modules. Each module is merited with its credit points, and a total of 100 points is required for the diploma to be conferred.
 

What does the course fee include?

The course fee includes tuition fees, lecture notes, ID card, and course materials.

What are the mode of payment?

Tuition fee payment can be done through Bank transfer, Visa card, MasterCard, Mobile Money, or MoneyGram.

 

I am not in Ghana, how can I join the class?

All our classes are done both face-to-face and online via zoom. Applicants must choose the one that best suits them.

What is the mode of assessment?

Assessments are done through a presentation, group work, and research.

 

I am not in Ghana, how do i recieve my certificate?

Certificates and other items are sent through DHL courier services. The shipping fee is to be paid by the student.
